  11. I have acquired the PPP 1.40 device (beta) from Mr. Kruse's  home page.
  12. One system to which I connect is suddenly useable.
  13. Data transfers _from_ that system to my A3000 were gruesomely slow
  14. until yesterday.  Now I can read email, at least.
  15. It took only a minute or so to read a couple of messages,
  16. whereas the same two messages did not transfer to my A3000
  17. in twenty minutes previously.
  18. Now I make a large assumption !!
  19. There is a large problem with handshaking between ppp.device
  20. and Windows-NT servers.  I can't prove this, but I am asking about
  21. to determine if the systems which are slow sending data to this
  22. A3000 are NT servers.
  23. Anybody else having this speed problem from your Amiga to
  24. _some_ net sites?
